Circle of Empowerment, Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County
Circle of Empowerment, a public artwork for the Girl Scouts of Santa Clara County, was dedicated at Rainbow’s End Park, San Jose, and CA. in August 2007. I designed the piece nine years ago in collaboration with Bill Gould Design and we finally fabricated it this past summer. The 30’ diameter circle was created as a ceremonial site. Layered with symbolism, the work incorporates mosaics and concrete stamps created by the scouts, handprints and the Girl Scout promise around a central fire pit.

Master Art Plan
Rogers is creating a Master Art Plan for the City
of Chico’s Manzanita Corridor Reconstruction Project. The theme,
titled “Weave of Nature / Web of Life”, reflects on nature as a way to inspire and connect the viewer back to the
source of life.
