This unique Monoprint Workshop will cover basic monoprint techniques - additive, subtractive, multiple drop transparency with a painterly approach. Students will focus on how to incorporate found objects, photo transfer, chine collé and stamping as a focus of their images.

 

Bring items from your travels and flea market finds -  sheet music, old letters, metal, paper, fabric, plastic, string, bubble wrap in which to embellish the print. This will be a fun exploration of the printing process and will result in rich surfaces and interesting focal points. We can use most material, although all won’t go thru the press.

 

This will be an exciting print workshop with great results. Open to beginners  through advanced printmakers!
